The GCSA member learns employment skills, leadership skills
and life skills necessary for a successful future.
Leadership Skills

GCSA membership enables students to recognize and develop their leadership abilities.

By participating in school and community projects and GCSA competitive events, members learn to plan, organize, and implement - qualities essential in leadership.

There are 13 officers in GCSA, seven are elected and six are appointed regional representatives.  They officiate at the state convention and at regional officer training conferences each year. In addition to these events, officers represent GCSA at meetings across the state. Locally, officers chair GCSA business meetings and coordinate local programs.
