GCSA attends Job Skill Seminar

GCSA and CTI had 700 students participate in an Employment and Job Skill Seminar at the Philips Arena on Friday, February 27th. The students were instructed on job interview skills and made aware of the vast variety of job opportunities available at the arena by Tony DoNato, Human Resource Director. The students also heard from individuals in the fields of Video Production, Public Relations and Entertainment. All 700 students followed the seminar by attending the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat game. East Jackson GCSA chapter and Westover CTI members were selected in a drawing to attend pregame warm-ups and had the opportunity to meet the legendary, Dominique Wilkins. Alicia Hamlin, CTI State President, Carddarius Warthen and Takevian Boone, GCSA Region Presidents, were introduced at center court prior to the opening of the game.
