GCSA Alumni Board of Directors on Task for the Year
The Georgia CSA Alumni Board of Directors had there first meeting to kickoff the new school year. The Board of Director’ members are: Kimberly Young, J.R. Van Hooser, Porshea Cooper, Cortney James, and Kiara Harris. The board is led by Wes Seabolt, Board Chair. The alumni assistant, Delucus Moore, and Educator Representative, Terri Cross, assisted Wes when the board met for their quarterly meeting on August 21, 2009at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. At this meeting the board started building the foundation for the GCSA Alumni: Where its members can MAKE THE PAST, THEIR PRESENT, TO WORK TOWARD THEIR FUTURE!! 09-10
The Georgia CSA Alumni Board of Directors will be onsite during the Fall Officer Training Conference to assist with operation support.
GCSA State President Derikas Hines on the Speaker Tour
Derikas Hines, GCSA State President, spoke to the Calhoun Chamber of Commerce about GCSA and gave his summer speech. Also he spoke for the Optimist Club where he also gave his speech.
Pierce Speaks to Dodge County High School School Advisory Board
KaHillarie Pierce, GCSA State Treasurer, spoke to the Dodge County High School Advisory board on Thursday, October 8. KaHillarie presented the speech that she has been working on with the State Leadership Team. The advisory board was very impressed with her speaking abilities and expressed an increased interest in GCSA.
